Andy Brocato - Tops Friendly Markets

Criteria: The Advertising Club of Buffalo Service Award recognizes not only hard work, but also outstanding achievement in furthering the activities and interests of the club. All past recipients have shown dedication, commitment and service to the club that went above and
beyond the call of duty.

 

An award-winning, 21-year veteran in the communications industry, Andy is the Senior Manager of Community Relations/Special Events at Tops Friendly Markets.

Andy began his career before graduating from Medaille as an Account Executive at Wm. Collins & Associates. Successive jobs included: Public Relations Director/Development Officer at the Zoological Society of Buffalo, Special Events Manager at WKBW-TV, Director of Marketing at Martin’s Fantasy Island and he also served as an Adjunct Professor at Medaille College.

Active in the community, Andy supports many community organizations. He currently serves as Past President of the Advertising Club of Buffalo – continuing to work on several special assignments for the Club, is a Board member and participant in the Communications/Special Events Committee for the March of Dimes, is on the Compass House/Casey House and Center for Youth Service Safe Place Advisory Board and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s walk committee. He is also
former President of the Public Relations Association of WNY, Leukemia Society Gelatin Splash Committee, and has coached baseball and volleyball at several levels.

Andy lives in Lancaster with his wife Rose and their 3-year-old son, Drew.
