The David I. Levy Award:
Bob Moody, Administrative Vice President, M&T Bank

Bob Moody: 2010 David I. Levy Award

Bob Moody began his career as a member of M&T Bank’s Management Development Program upon his graduation from the State university of New York at Buffalo. He was eventually assigned to the bank’s Marketing Department where he discovered his affinity for advertising and promotion and that set the course for the remainder of his career.

After progressing to the position of Assistant Vice President and Director of Communications, Bob left M&T to experience life on the agency side, serving as an Account Supervisor at Faller, Klenk & Quinlan.

He subsequently accepted a position at Fisher-Price Toys where he spent over a dozen years as the Company’s Director of Advertising, helping launch Fisher-Price’s entry into a wide variety of new toy categories. Bob returned to M&T Bank in the mid ‘90s and is currently responsible for advertising, promotion and sports marketing sponsorships.

Reflecting the bank’s significant growth, he has been instrumental in introducing M&T to new markets ranging from Syracuse and Harrisburg to Baltimore and Washington, D.C. He was a key player in negotiating naming rights to M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore and manages the official bank relationship with both the Bills and the Ravens.

Reflecting his accomplishments, Bob has recently been promoted to Administrative Vice President at M&T. He and his wife Lynn live in the Town of Tonawanda and have two adult sons, Rob and Andy.
