WalkUp Advertising Adds New Locations

Paul H. Bush, President of Pittsford-based WalkUp Advertising, announced today that in addition to the company’s presence in Eastview Mall, The Mall at Greece Ridge and The Marketplace Mall, they have added Total Sports Experience facilities in Gates and East Rochester to their locations served.

The company has recently been selected by Total Sports Experience to manage print and digital out-of-home media in its two locations. Effective immediately, advertisers can place large format banners, entry door decals and on-screen advertising in both Total Sports Experience locations. “Our facilities see thousands of people a month through our doors. Bringing in WalkUp Advertising to market and coordinate ad sales is the next logical step in sports marketing. Our facilities deliver an audience of families and sports fans not traditionally reachable through conventional media,” explained James Hammond, General Manager, Total Sports Experience.

Background: WalkUp Advertising was the first in the Rochester market to integrate video advertising and digital display technology when it launched in Eastview Mall in 2013. In 2016, the company added digital display kiosks in The Mall at Greece Ridge. Around the same time, the company introduced large-format print advertising in all three Rochester malls. “The evolution of our business has included installing similar museum-quality systems on the R.I.T. campus and smaller installations of digital advertising signage in CharBroil Restaurant in Brighton,” added Bush.
