Bartel Communications Delivers Results for Bennett Contracting's 100th Business Anniversary |

Bartel Communications was engaged by Bennett Contracting to develop, implement and publicize a 100th business anniversary community service project and delivered “spectacular” results, according to the client.
For its 100th business anniversary, Bennett Contracting wished to (1) showcase its design and construction skills through a fun community service project that would help families in Albany’s South End and (2) use the project to raise the firm’s visibility through a media campaign that would tell Bennett Contracting’s story of beginning as a plumbing shop in 1915, expanding into heating and insulation services and evolving into the Capital District’s oldest and largest full-service home remodeling company.
Bartel Communications created the “Building Strong Roots” 100th business anniversary community service campaign and arranged for Bennett Contracting to partner with Capital Roots to design, construct and install a new garden shed and grape arbor in the Lincoln Park community garden that Capital Roots manages and where more than 50 South End families grow their own food. Capital Roots’ mission is to nourish healthy communities by providing access to fresh food and green spaces.
In addition to finding a suitable community service project and introducing Bennett Contracting to Capital Roots, Bartel Communications launched a print and broadcast media campaign for the 100th anniversary project.
