Peter Rashford of Midair Studio in Cold Brook, NY was commissioned to hand paint an 18-foot by 50-foot interior wall mural at a new building constructed by Albany RV at 48 Rensselaer Avenue in Latham, NY. The two story 8,000 square foot building features a massive indoor showroom.
The mural image is an autumn Adirondack landscape. It complements the outdoor theme of the showroom. Interior designers added depth to the wall mural with manmade 3-dimensional rocks and trees that adorn the showroom.
An acrylic mural this size required many hours of preparation. Artist Annette Gurdo assisted in painting. It took the artists eight long work days to paint. Rashford and Gurdo have teamed to offer mural painting for business and home.
