Match MG is seeking a smart, overly organized, ambitious, energetic, strategic-thinking Senior Account Executive with a passion for great work in our Buffalo, NY office. You will be responsible for day-to-day execution for high-profile national clients in the sports, broadband and CPG categories.
In this role, you will be the client liaison on all programs from development through complete execution, managing all facets independently with little supervision. The Senior Account Manager is expected to have a strong knowledge of experiential marketing concepts and experience with: integrated marketing events, event production, promotions, and social media campaigns.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
Your Day to Day
Responsible for the overall management of projects, always striving to push the standards on agency output and maximization of client relationships, ROI, and account profitability.
Fully understand the clients business needs and challenges (including current industry knowledge), while committed to delivering the agencys business objectives and goals.
Assure resources are marshaled and effectively applied to the account.
Foster strong relationships built on trust with both the client and internal teams.
Aide in the development of inspired briefs and/or program documents with leadership
Write and present strong presentations and/or program documents and reports to clients.
Keep senior team informed of all account activities.
Provide added value to client business through seamless execution, innovative solutions, and progressive ideas.
Develop, manage, and reconcile budgets and help forecast client revenue
Manage direct reports, providing coaching and direction as needed
Capability to grow existing accounts and assist in the acquisition of new business for the agency
Ability to travel based on client and agency needs
Minimum 5 years of agency/event marketing experience
Bachelors degree, emphasis in marketing or business preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Ability to work autonomously and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a minimum of 3 clients
Proven ability to grow existing business
Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and lead a team
Sound industry knowledge, solid judgment, and confirmed strategic planning skills
Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong sense of ownership, proactive approach, drive and desire to be accountable for performance
