Jarek Pulit is a designer and illustrator living in Western New York with his beautiful and patient wife, a creative and ambitious young son and an overweight cat.
A 2000 graduate of The State University of New York in sunny Buffalo, he was entitled to a BA in Art which he gladly accepted leaving behind a trail of figure study drawings and a kneaded eraser as his only legacy. His transition into the digital realm was bolstered with the boom of Macromedia Flash and the promise of bad vector animations but has since evolved into an appreciation for human digital interaction. Recently, after several years of puttering about, he has returned to his illustration/drawing roots with a vengeance and plans to keep at it until he doesn’t.
He has worked as a typesetter, graphic designer, web designer, Flash designer, Flash Developer, Interactive Art Director and currently a UI/UX designer for 3rd Learning where he works as part of a very talented web application design team building web based educational portals and tools. In his spare time he devotes any free time he can scrape up to his more traditionally based artistic endeavors or playing the Wii with his son.
He has been shaped in language, personality and culture by Saturday morning cartoons, comics, sugar cereals, giant robots and 8 bit graphic video games. He would love to help you foster your ideas. |
