OtherWisz Creative Corporation, a New York State S-Corporation, is the graphic design team of Mark and Jill Wisz. Founded as a sole proprietorship in 2001, OtherWisz provides graphic design and web development services to clients of all sorts and sizes. Initially serving small and home-based businesses with identity design packages and brochure websites, OtherWisz has grown to serve large corporations as we continue to assist an increasing number of ventures with marketing consultation services.
Mark, a graduate of Buffalo State College, was an early proponent of pursuing Internet communications as a valuable marketing tool. He developed his skills as an art director at a number of graphic design and web design firms all while cultivating a substantial freelance business with the idea of eventually forming his own company. Jill earned her masters degree in architecture from the State University at Buffalo. She honed her creative skills working at a prestigious Buffalo architectural firm and through designing trade show displays and museum exhibits. In the spring of 2004, Jill’s creative drive and business aptitude became an integral part of OtherWisz as the firm evolved into OtherWisz Creative Corporation. A sizable crew of graphic designers, developers and consultants, many working part-time or freelance, round out the OtherWisz team.
The OtherWisz office, situated in a renovated barn that is nestled in the Elmwood Village District of Buffalo, N.Y., reflects our creative nature. Within this historic setting our team works to balance visually striking design elements with a sensitivity to the client’s message within that design, creating a dynamic and effective fusion of words and images. Such diverse clients as Fowler’s Chocolates, Literacy Volunteers, LP Ciminelli, Kenmore Development, Garrett Leather, and Buffalo Spree Publications have applauded the work we’ve done for them (read some testimonials here).
With over twenty years of graphic design experience, OtherWisz has won numerous awards, including ADDY’s for our logo and for our website. The ADDY’s are produced by Brainstorm, the Communicator’s Club of Buffalo, Inc., which is affiliated with the national American Advertising Federation (AAF). In 2007, OtherWisz was named Volunteer of the Year for Literacy Volunteers of Buffalo and Erie County, Inc. |
