Bob is a former public information director and spokesman for Strong Memorial Hospital and the Univ. of Rochester Medical Center. He’s been a publicist and copywriter at Gannett Rochester Newspapers/Democrat & Chronicle/USA Today; a writer/producer at the Educational Communications Center/SUNY-Brockport; and a part-time marketing and communications manager at the Epilepsy Foundation.
He’s written more than 1,200 press releases and promoted hundreds of new and continuing services, products, and special events. His work has appeared in all of the Rochester-area print and broadcast media as well as statewide and nationally in The New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, CNN, NPR, AP and many others.
Bob earned a bachelor’s degree in English at Brooklyn College and a master’s degree in writing and mass communication at the University of North Carolina. In previous lives, he's been a professional musician and a college teacher.
