WRVO is a non-profit news, information and entertainment service for residents of central and northern New York. Local news updates are heard daily from reporters around our 15 county coverage area. Station events include live tapings; community forums and discussions; events with NPR personalities; cruises to the Canadian Maritimes and Alaska; and trips to local venues for music, opera and other cultural events; and more. From studios located at the State University of New York College at Oswego, WRVO also brings listeners local programming with Tuned to Yesterday, the Campbell Conversations, and Take Care.
