Launched by Kodak founder George Eastman, and Newspaper magnate Frank Gannett, WHAM has been synonymous with Rochester and an anchor in the community since 1922.
As Rochester’s “News Leader”, WHAM has been the recipient of numerous honors and awards from both within the community it serves, as well as the industry it leads. Honors include The Edward R. Murrow Award and a nomination as News/Talk Station of the Year by Radio & Records.
