Whether it is writing a website (where visitors should instantly know who you are, what you do, and why you are different and better), creating a commercial (where you need to break through the clutter with a meaningful message), or concepting a product name and tagline (where you must be resonant, congruent, and differentiating), I strive to deliver on the concept of effective creativity.
As a writer for over 25 years, I began by creating articles on music for magazines such as Different Drummer, downbeat, and Fusion. As a copywriter, I've provided sales-inspiring copy for direct and agency clients from Bausch & Lomb to the University of California, covering a wide range of industries and types of advertising and marketing projects and programs. Extensive B-to-B and B-to-C marketing communications writing expertise with many websites and online content projects.
After 10 years as owner and Panamanian strongman of my own ad agency, Ingersoll et al, I then served as Associate Creative Director for Mason Marketing in Rochester NY. Addy citations, Aurora and Mercury Awards, and recognition from Entrepreneur magazine but results for clients are more important than statuettes.
