High Tech Rochester (HTR) is an independent, not-for-profit organization that serves technology-based businesses with training, consulting and connections to key resources. Our corporate sponsors include the Rochester Business Alliance, academic institutions, corporations, professional services firms, local and state government.
HTR's mission is
To stimulate growth of the Greater Rochester technology-based business sector by actively facilitating the identification, development, and incubation of new business opportunities, and
To improve the competitive position of small manufacturing companies through product and process innovation.
The Lennox Tech Enterprise Center, located off of Bailey Road in West Henrietta, offers incubation services to technology entrepreneurs. Our TEC Affiliates program offers services to ventures throughout the community. Startup assistance includes entrepreneurial coaching & training, commercialization assistance and connections to key resources including capital.
Through the Manufacturing Extension Partnership, HTR provides technical support to small and medium sized manufacturing companies in the Finger Lakes region. Our team of engineering and manufacturing professionals provides assessments, benchmarks and consulting to help clients increase productivity and quality. We help companies access State grants and low cost funding to support Lean Manufacturing improvements.
Jim Senall is president of HTR, leading a staff of 16 full time professionals. HTR is accountable to its Corporate Board and Operating Committee, made up of leaders from sponsoring organizations.
