The Northeast Reading Radio Service is a valuable resource for people with visual impairment or other disability that hinders their ability to read. Seven days a week, a team of dedicated volunteers provide audio recordings of interesting and informative programs that are streamed onto the internet. The broadcasts include the reading of a wide range of newspapers, magazines and other publications throughout the Clinton County region. Additional national and international publications are broadcast as they become available.
Here is a sample of our programming:
Adirondack Life
Adirondack Explorer
Blind and Disability News
Cook’s Corner
Health Show
Mountain Lake Journal
National Geographic
Newsweek
Oprah
Press Republican
People’s Pharmacy
Strictly Business
Time Magazine

Our team of dedicated, loyal volunteers who read and record the newspapers and periodicals for vision-impaired listeners to hear come from different walks of life and share the desire to be of service to their community. If you would like to make a difference by volunteering your time to read for the Northeast Radio Reading Service,
