PRSA (Public Relations Society of America) Finger Lakes is a networking and professional development organization that serves the Corning/Elmira, Ithaca, and Binghamton areas. The chapter holds events at various locations in the region six times a year.
The chapter is part of PRSA’s Northeast District, which includes eight PRSA chapters from Buffalo to Bangor, Maine. The Northeast District hosts an annual professional development conference, hosted by one of its chapters, every fall.
Chartered in 1947, PRSA is the world’s largest organization for public relations professionals. With nearly 20,000 members and 116 chapters, PRSA represents business and industry, technology, counseling firms, government, associations, hospitals schools, professional services and nonprofit organizations.
