Joanne has been a professional illustrator for over 30 years. After graduating from Syracuse University she worked at the Tampa Tribune for five years and then at the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle newspapers for 10 years. At the D&C, she was the newsroom art director. Since leaving the D&C she has been a freelance artist for various newspapers, magazines, ad agencies and companies as well as some residential, private work.
