Retallack Photography

Robyn Foster of the Redlands Museum, Queensland, Australia wrote this about me when I was included in a Book Arts exhibit there. I doubt I could do better.
"John has an extensive and varied career in the photographic arts. Since working in arts education at The School of Visual Arts NYC and Rochester Institute of Technology, School of Photographic Arts & Sciences, John now devotes his time and talents to his own freelance and fine art photography projects. John has participated consistently in public exhibitions since 1973 with works in numerous publications and private and public collections including George Eastman Museum, Wallace Memorial Library Archives, Monroe Community Hospital, Russian Fine Art Photographers Union and Iron County Michigan Museum."
I am currently photographing on a number of self generated projects which I have or will exhibit. I work in Book Arts as well as general Fine Arts and still do a bit of commercial work.
