VanAuken Teaching Advanced Brand Research in Kazakhstan

Brad VanAuken will be in Almaty, Kazakhstan the week of July 30 (2006) to conduct a workshop on advanced brand research techniques for Resmi Group Limited, a leading consumer marketing company responsible for numerous brands, including Pepsi, in Kazakhstan.

In the past 12 months, Brad VanAuken has helped the following new clients develop and manage their brands: Beacon Consulting, CooperVision, Downtown Tampa, ESL Federal Credit Union, Forte Capital, Garlock Sealing Technologies, Nalge Nunc International, One World Goods, United Way of Greater Rochester and Your True Nature.

Helping Libraries Market Themselves
Through Brand | Cool Marketing, Brad VanAuken is conducting a series of four brand management workshops for the Rochester Regional Library Council. Librarians from public, academic, corporate and other libraries from throughout the region have attended the workshop. Previous topics have included marketing, brand positioning, marketing research, publicity and other low-cost marketing tactics, and repositioning the library as a place. The next workshop, addressing brand identity and marketing plans, will be held at the Rochester Regional Library Council office on Wednesday, August 30. Helping Thailand Create Global Fashion Brands
Brad VanAuken also conducted a two-day workshop entitled “Creating Global Fashion Brands” in Bangkok, Thailand on May 24 and 25, 2006. Thailand is one of the world's largest producers of garments. They produce clothes under a large number of designer labels for fashion companies throughout the world. With the help of a government grant, these garment producers have hired Brad, who trained people from 28 different clothing factories on how to create global fashion brands, helping them transition from clothing manufacturers to fashion design firms.
