Mark Wisz and Jill Wisz, co-owners of OtherWisz Creative Corporation, an advertising and design studio specializing in identity design and website development, announced that their firm has provided naming and identity strategies for the Sweet Marie’s brand frozen dessert for manufacturer Culinary Art’s Specialties. Culinary Arts Specialties makes private label frozen desserts for major retailers across North America, specifically frozen cheesecakes. The Sweet Marie’s product line is a follow up to the popular Arthur Paul’s brand – a brand identity also created by OtherWisz Creative.
“The Arthur Paul’s Cheesecake logo that we developed for Culinary Arts Specialties is their first in-house line that was purchased by Walmart for exclusive distribution,” stated designer Jill Wisz. “CAS turned to OtherWisz Creative to help recreate the success of that brand by developing another logo for a line of budget frozen cheesecakes available at Walmart.”
“As with the Arthur Paul’s brand logo, we looked to the company’s family for inspiration for the name. Arthur Paul was the late founder of Culinary Arts Specialties and Marie is a grandchild of one of the current owners,” added Mark Wisz, “The logo has a lightness and familiarity to it that projects an innocent sweetness to the dessert; matched with an equally pleasing color scheme, it is sure to stand out with consumers.”
