The advertising firm introduced a new logo, packaging and developed a retail distribution strategy. With SKM’s strategic direction, Just Ask Josh will begin distributing the company’s first product—gluten-free chocolate chip cookie dough to local retailers for enhanced individual sales.
Offering gluten-free baked goods to the community is the mission of Julie Reinstein, owner and founder of Just Ask Josh. She captured inspiration from her son Josh, who has celiac disease, a chronic, genetic, digestive autoimmune disease which can cause a range of health complications if not treated. Symptoms include malnutrition, bone loss, anemia and chronic fatigue, to name a few, and require those affected with the disease to eliminate gluten from their diet. “I was determined to provide my son with a snack that he can enjoy just as any other child, regardless of health restrictions,” says Reinstein.
Before using the services of SKM, Julie ran the company out of her home with minimal advertising. In an effort to reach a broader market, Julie approached SKM for help branding her first product before its planned release. SKM completed work on a variety of elements, including a photo shoot featuring her son Josh, creating the new tagline “sweet treats everyone can eat!” and designing fun, playful packaging. “I would not be where I am today, launching a new product into the market place, if it was not for SKM Group.
