Spinergy, an industry leader in content delivery and media production services, has acquired Rochester-based layerONE media, a D4, LLC company.
Established in 2008, LayerONE media was later purchased by D4, a national leader in litigation support and eDiscovery services. The acquisition of layerONE bolsters Spinergy’s strategic growth and strengthens Spinergy’s leadership position in the content management and delivery industries.
“Spinergy’s goal is to be on the cutting edge of interactive media development and customer content delivery,” said Spinergy President & CEO Brian Axtman. “The acquisition is a great opportunity to leverage the strengths of both companies to deliver new solutions to new markets. We’re excited for the opportunities ahead.”
Effective June 2, 2014, LayerONE media operations will be moved into Spinergy’s 80,000 square foot facility located at 1655 Lyell Ave, Rochester, NY 14606. The sale is an exciting opportunity for Spinergy to leverage the combined expertise of both organizations, providing more robust product and service offerings to an expanding national client base. The operational transition will be seamless for current layerONE clients, allowing for uninterrupted order processing and streamlined project execution.
