Holiday Valley has been a staple in the ski and snowboard community for the last 60 years. The FBD2 team was honored to partner with Holiday Valley in designing a new full size exhibit which made its first appearance at the Toronto Ski + Snowboard Show in October 2018.
The Holiday Valley folks wanted to make use of the hardware from their first display designed and built by FBD2 back in 2006. To that end, a large mural graphic (designed by Kristen Sciara) depicting a massive map of all the trails, took center stage.
Two backlit graphics, featuring scenes of activities around the park, framed the center portion on both sides. A built-in TV monitor, a glowing LED branded header and stand-off graphics added the finishing touch to this eye-catching exhibit. Because of the modular attribute of this design, the Holiday Valley marketing team has the ability to use portions of the display at smaller venues and events.
We hope this display treats our friends in Ellicottville well in highlighting all that Holiday Valley has to offer!
In 1956 Dick Congdon, John Fisher and Bill Northrup decided to peruse their dream of opening a larger modern ski area. Today Holiday Valley boasts 13 lifts, 60 slopes, and trails, 3 base lodges, two hotels a golf course, pools, Aerial Park, mountain coaster and numerous amenities.
